1. Definition

3. Text Structure

    A. Orientation

    B. Events

In             this section, we tell something that happened in           the past according to a series of events. To                         indicate a series of events, we can use on the                   first day, when, on the next day, on our last day,               in Sunday morning, and so on.

    C. Re-orientation

         The conclusion or ending of the experience told.           You can also add your impression of the story,                 such as whether it was a pleasant experience or             not.For example : Shortly afterwards, the police             stopped the car and both men were arrested.

4. Expressions/sentences

    A. Use the simple past tense

         simple past tense to show past activities.

    B. Using specific participant

         Personal participants include me, my group, my             friends, my husband, etc.

    D. Using action verb

         Is a verb that refers to an action you take that is             visible to others. This verb is also known as a                   dynamic verb. Example sentences:

         First, we visited Parangtritis beach.

         Visited is a verb that can be seen by others.

5.  Types of recount text

     A. Personal recount is a recount text that tells                 about the writer's personal experience.

     B. Factual recount, is a recount text that serves to       present a report of an event that really happened,       such as a report on a science experiment or a                   police report.

     C. Imaginative, is a recount text that functions to         present an imaginative story and is set in events           or events that have occurred

    D. Historical recount is a form of recount text that       recounts historical events.

 WENT TO BANDUNGAN

    Last week, I went to Bandungan. I went with my big family. The start of the trip was at night. 

    I went to Bandungan to get some fresh air. My family really enjoyed the trip. Passing through Ungaran, we could see the beauty of Ungaran city at night. After arriving in Bandungan, my family and I saw Bandungan square which was very crowded. Next, we look for a rabbit satay restaurant. The satay tastes so good but the price is expensive. Followed by family gathering and relaxing in the rest area. 

    After all that, we headed back to Semarang. It didn't feel like the time flew by. At 11pm, we headed home feeling tired but happy.
